Naturalization Public Engagement

The City of Edmonton is committed to building a healthy, climate-resilient city, working toward a goal of planting two million trees by 2031 to expand our forest canopy to 20% by 2071.

To reach these goals and build a vibrant and healthy urban environment, we are undertaking a process of naturalization. The City is restoring select areas of open spaces to a more natural state, expanding our urban forest and supporting the native plant and animal species found in our region.

The City of Edmonton will be planting new tree and shrub seedlings in Windermere. We are currently conducting an online public engagement survey to understand the preferences of communities when naturalizing the areas where you live, work and play. This engagement aims to refine the City’s plan on how to plant trees and shrubs at selected sites while ensuring alignment with the site’s current usage and community values.

To participate in public engagement for your neighbourhood, please visit engaged.edmonton.ca/naturalizationplantingsites. Explore the neighbourhood map to see the planned naturalization sites and provide your feedback on planting priorities. Feedback will be accepted until April 26, 2026.

2026 Fee Reminder

Re:          Homeowners Association Fee – Effective June 1, 2026

                The Windermere North Home Owners Association  (HOA)                         

Dear Owner,

A friendly reminder that the WN HOA Fees are coming due June 1, 2026.  The budget package and HOA fee will be sent out on May 1, 2026.  The Homeowner’s Association fees for your property will be $220 plus GST for a total of $231 or $110 plus GST for a total of $115.50, effective June 1, 2026. The GST number for the HOA is 79757 1023 RT0001.

We would like to remind owners that pre-authorized withdrawals are no longer processed by our office.

Payments can be made online, via telepay or by cheque.

Payments will be due on June 1st, 2026.

To pay your invoice online, go to https://WNHOA.ca/ click on “My Account”, then click on “Log in” enter your email address and your password. If you are unsure of your credentials, please contact info@coremanagement.ca.

Collections Process: As per the Board of Directors, unpaid accounts will be subject to a $50 additional charge on September 15, 2026, following the AGM, for additional collection work. If accounts continue to remain unpaid, they will be sent to a collection agency on October 1, 2026, with further additional costs being applied for their services.  Any homes who have not paid in 2 years, will be sent to legal on October 1, 2026.

As a property owner in WN HOA, you are a member of the Association. Membership is mandatory and fees are charged in accordance with the encumbrance registered on your certificate of title.

Fountain and Pond Weed Harvesting

Dear Owners and Residents, The WN HOA Fountain was pulled yesterday in preparation for the pond weed harvesting.  We are expecting the weed harvester today or tomorrow at the latest.  It is quite a process so feel free to walk by and take a look.  The pump will be restored to the pond once the harvesting is complete. We appreciate your patience.
